There is no doubt that the Texas Hill Country is a beautiful place to call home. This area has long captivated people with the beauty of its sprawling hills, trees, wildlife, brush, and streams. But the same things that have attracted those to carve out a home or business here can also be some of the greatest obstacles when it comes to building.
That’s where we come in!
We can help tame the rugged land to pave the way for your plans and projects. A major reason we love what we do is because we get the honor of creating something new—our team enjoys the challenge of overcoming the barriers that stand in the way of your dream becoming a reality.
In all our years at Texas Rock Milling, we have been part of some incredible projects. From preparation for new roads, driveways, and business expansions. All the way to preparing for the foundation to be laid of future homes, places where family meals will be shared and children will learn how to ride a bike for the first time.
The opportunity is special.
Today we wanted to highlight a few of the projects we’ve had the privilege of working on lately:
Copper Ridge Subdivision in New Braunfels, TX
This lone house now has neighbors! We had the privilege of shaping this portion of land into a neighborhood – preparing the foundation for future builds and carving out the path for roads and driveways. Can you see your children playing in a neighborhood like this one?
Clearing Rough Terrain
You wouldn’t believe how big of a difference clearing brush and eliminating rough terrain can have on your property! Look at how different this property looks once the rocks have been transformed to base, the cactuses removed, and the brush eliminated. Now there is space for the homeowner to take in the beautiful views and make full use of their backyard.
Excavating a Wine Cellar
Wow! We were thrilled to be able to carve out the future location of this wine cellar. Can you imagine hosting dinner parties and sharing this wonderful build with your closest friends? We can!
Creating Usable Land
(Click here to watch the video!)
We talk a lot about usable land because there is little you can do with a property that is riddled with rocks and impassable brush. We made a 12-foot cut on this land, creating around 2,000 cubic yards of usable base. The owner can use this section of land for backfill, roads, bike trails, and materials for future structures on the property. It is truly a blank slate that the owner’s dreams can now come to life on!
A Gorgeous New Build
(Click here to watch the video!)
Take a look at this gorgeous build our team got to work on! We were able to minimize the owner’s concrete costs and maximize that amount of space for a backyard. Their kids will have plenty of space to run around and enjoy the Texas landscape. We cleared the land to make way for the concrete pad and reused as much raw material as possible to avoid unnecessary hauling and importing costs.

No matter if we are clearing the way for a future build, providing access to previously inaccessible land, or paving the way for your dream to come to light, we can’t wait to make it possible! We’ve taken on numerous projects just like these and love applying our expertise to unique projects we have never done before as well.
